Welcome back!
It’s time for another edition of the Blue Max Newsletter! It’s been a couple months and there has been a TON of action at the track! We had two different arrive-and-drive events (Formula KFX and F.A.T. Karting), and there were THREE Blue Max club races. Overwhelmingly exciting turnouts for all events. We love to see Blue Max thriving and supporting karting for all ages.
We can’t say it enough, this club is incredibly grateful for all the support from this amazing community of members and non-members. Thank you for continuing to show up and make Blue Max the special place that it has always been.
Cheers to more memories and action-packed racing!

Driver Profile
Amanda Vogt
When did you start karting? I started karting back in 2005 when I was 5 years old, after my dad bought me a kart. I did a couple of seasons in kid karts and then quit to focus on bowling as my full-time competitive sport. I’ve always enjoyed going to K1 speed and going fast over the years, so after seeing a L0206 on Marketplace, I bought my first kart in early 2025 and did my first race in March 2025. So technically, I have one year that I can actually remember!
Favorite pre-race song? I don’t have a specific song, but anything by Ariana Grande works
If you could race against anyone, who would it be? Probably Kimi Antonelli or Max Verstappen
Favorite Blue Max layout? Forward short track!
What do you do for fun when you’re not at the track? I’m a pilot for work, so when I’m not at the track or working, I like to do aerobatics in small airplanes, play with RC cars and planes, wakeboard, and play video games with my friends.
What is your dream car? Nissan GT-R
Some more fun facts: Amanda is incredibly humble, kind and ALWAYS has a smile on her face. What makes her even more remarkable is the deep-rooted legacy of aviation in her family—her grandparents flew crop dusters, and her father is also a pilot. Flying is truly in her blood. Did you know she is the youngest commercial pilot?!?! She started flying planes before she had her drivers license, and took her first solo flight when she was 16 years old. When she’s not at the track, you’ll find her in the cockpit of Delta Airlines!
Swing by her pit spot at the next race and say hello 😀

Amanda ready to take flight!
Thank you to her mom and dad for these epic photos and some of the history behind her karting and aviation career!

Track Maintenance
You all have noticed how beautiful the track has looked the past few months. Another huge shout out to Josh Brindle. Rain or shine, that guy is out there mowing the lawn, fixing the barriers, emptying the trash and pumping standing water from the track. Thank you, Josh!
Barrier Replacement Project
We are looking to replace most of the barriers around the track. More info to come soon about how you can participate in these efforts!
Call for special skills or projects
Do you have a special skill or hobby that could benefit the track? We are always looking for assistance with plumbing, bathroom upgrades, audio or sound system, bleacher repairs. Let us know if you have any skills or services that you are able to donate to the track.
Kart Club property cleanliness
With more members, more activity and more use, just a quick reminder to please clean up after yourselves when you're at the track. We are a non-profit club and don’t have cleaning staff, so keeping the space tidy really depends on all of us doing our part.
Taking a moment to pick up trash, leave things as you found them, and taking your belongings home helps keep the facility enjoyable for everyone. Thanks for your cooperation and for helping maintain the track for all to enjoy!
